Sanita enjoys serving her local community, whether through service on various nonprofit boards or other types of volunteering. Though these roles had little to do with her professional background, her journey into sourcing awards, gifts, apparel, and giveaways began in these volunteer positions. With a foundation in the field of engineering, she gained expertise in materials, processes, and systems development, as well as valuable connections to industry experts. This background has equipped her with the ability to conduct comprehensive research, a skill that complements her work in the promotional products industry.

Her past background led her to explore the possibility of transitioning into her own business, leveraging skills and resources she already possessed.

BrandUWorld became certified as a minority-owned business through the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and is a member of Montgomery County’s Local Small Business Reserve Program while maintaining memberships in several national promotional product associations.
